Christmas came early this year when I decided to skip the Thanksgiving cornucopia and prepare my home for the holidays. My thinking went something like this: If I decorate for Christmas this weekend, then I can relax next weekend and peacefully plan Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations for family and friends.
