A poem that explores the dark side of human nature using the analogy of a game of chess.

Do you ever feel like life is similar to a game of chess in which the cunning always come out on top? I sure have! I often find myself trusting in the goodness of others never anticipating hidden motives or selfish ambitions.
Yet just as the queen has the most power in a game of chess, God’s wisdom has the most power in the game of life.
But the wisdom that comes from heavenĀ is first of all pure; then peace-loving,Ā considerate, submissive, full of mercyĀ and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
